<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and an apparatus which can efficiently create composite component programs. <P>SOLUTION: A composite component program post processor creates composite component programs which are to be used with a computer numerical control (CNC) multihead composite material using machine. The post processor includes a definition receiver, a route delineator, an access and separation profiler, a machine axis solving computer and an output file composer. The definition receiver receives, for example, material use route definitions from a composite component program generator, and the route delineator draws routes for a tool carriage and production tools. In addition, the access and separation profiler adds access and separation profiles to the routes, and a machine axis position computer calculates a machine axis position, to control the composite material, using machine and guides a composite material using head along, to the route.
