<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To construct a parking brake force generating means in a compact form along the longitudinal direction of a parking wire for generating traction force on the parking wire to put a wheel brake into a parking braking condition. <P>SOLUTION: The parking brake force generating means 60 has: a turning lever 66 to one end of which the parking wire 65 is connected; a hydraulic cylinder 69 connected to the other end of the turning lever 66 through the opposite side to the parking wire 65; and a ratchet mechanism 72 having a plurality of ratchet teeth 70 provided on the side face of the turning lever 66, and arranged on the opposite side to the hydraulic cylinder 69 in relation to the turning lever 66. The hydraulic cylinder 69 is arranged in inclination so as to approach a longitudinal extension line L of the parking wire 65 as leaving the turning lever 66. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
