<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric power steering device capable of suppressing the solid-borne noise effectively even if an electric motor is vibrating. <P>SOLUTION: A body constituent member 30 supports a column assembly 26 having a steering column whereon a steering shaft is supported rotatably, a motor housing 17 fixed to the steering column to accommodate the electric motor 6 for assisting the steering, and a gear housing 14 coupled with the motor housing 17 for accommodating a decelerating gear mechanism.
