<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten the waiting time of a data file with high priority when transferring data files through a communication path of narrow transfer band due to a failure in a communication path of wide transfer band. <P>SOLUTION: This file transfer system transfers data files while selectively using a plurality of communication paths. An information management part 23 manages line speeds as well as transfer bands for each communication path.
