<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processing unit achieving a proper reduction of a system load related to the decoding of a moving image stream. <P>SOLUTION: A video playback application program 201 inquires an operating system 200 of the system load. If the system load is in a low load state below a preset level, the entire decoding processing (normal decoding processing) including deblocking filter processing is executed. Meanwhile, if the system load is in a high load state higher than, or including, the preset level, a video playback application program 201 executes a special decoding processing omitting the deblocking filter processing of a color difference signal in the deblocking filter processing, and thereby the system load related to the decoding of the moving image stream is reduced. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
