<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a history management device, capable of efficiently performing narrowing retrieval results. <P>SOLUTION: In the history management device, image data processed in an image processor is taken as a processing object, a character or word contained in the image data of the processing object is detected, the detected character or word is associated with information for specifying its detection position in the image data and held as retrieval information with the image data of the processing object, and the held retrieval information is used for retrieval processing of image data with the character or word and its detection position as a retrieval condition. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
