PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a capacitor module and a power converter in which generation and propagation of vibration are prevented. SOLUTION: The capacitor module 1 is contigured by including: an internal module 2 where a capacitor element 21 constituted by winding a metallization film and a mold material 22 filling its periphery are arranged in an inner case 23; and an outer case 3 for containing the internal module 2 while the internal module 2 and the outer case 3 are secured with each other. Securing portion 4 of the internal module 2 and the outer case 3 is located at such a height as the distance from the center C of the capacitor element 21 in the height direction falls within 10% of the height H of the capacitor element 21.
