PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem in a road sign using a light guide plate wherein light emitted from light emission diodes cannot be sufficiently irradiated because of using the light guide plate with dots printed on the surface. SOLUTION: The road sign comprises a sign plate R formed of an optically transmitting material and formed with a predetermined road sign on the surface; a solar panel for generating electric power; and a light emitting device having light emission diode arrays 13, 14 linearly arranged to emit light based on electric power generated at an electric power generating part, a reflecting plate 17 disposed in a position irradiated in the inclined state of the beam diameters of the light emission diode arrays 13, 14 and reflecting light from the light emission diode arrays 13, 14 toward the sign plate, and a plurality of reflecting dots 19 formed on the surface of the reflecting plate.
