PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cutting tool eliminating mold cavities on a surface of a working surface of a molded part, reducing cutting resistance and improving a discharging property of chips. SOLUTION: This cutting tool is provided with one or a plurality of cutting blade parts 30 on a head end outer peripheral part of a tool body 10 to be rotated around a tool shaft center CL, a front cutting blade 33 is formed on a peripheral edge part of the rake face 32 of the cutting blade part 30 so as to be projected from a head end surface 10b of the cutting tool 10 and to be roughly orthogonal with the tool shaft center CL, a contact surface 31 connected to this front cutting blade 33, extended to the rear side in the tool rotating K direction, roughly orthogonal with the tool shaft center CL, being a flat surface or a curved surface and making surface-contact with a surface of a work piece is formed, an area S of this contact surface 31 is made a region of 0.1-100 mm<SP>2</SP>, and a rake angleαexpressed by an angle made by the rake face 32 and the tool shaft center CL is set in a region of -15°to +45°.
