PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that conventional filter structural bodies are insufficient for chemical resistance and generate cracks in the bonding layers of support bodies with filters. SOLUTION: This filter structural body 10 has a plurality of porous pipe-shaped filters 1 and a pair of support bodies 2 provided with a plurality of penetrating holes 4, and is manufactured by inserting and supporting the respective filters 1 in the respective penetrating holes 4 and bonding them through the bonding layers 3. The end surfaces of the filters 1 are arranged as they remain projected from the main surfaces of one side of the support bodies 2 and at least both the end parts of filters are covered with first protecting layers 5a.
