PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water purifying cartridge having a high purifying capacity for evenly allowing inflow raw water to flow through the whole of a filter medium and collecting the filtered water to make the same to flow out of a purified water outflow part as purified water. SOLUTION: A partition plate 90 is embedded in activated carbon 88, which is the filter medium charged in a case 61, not only to partition the bed of activated carbon 88 into an upstream first activated carbon bed 88A and a downstream side second activated carbon bed 88B in an axial direction but also to form a flow channel 91 from the side of the first activated carbon bed 88A to the second activated carbon bed 88B between the partition plate 90 and the inner surface of the case 61. The raw water having flowed and moved through the first activated carbon bed 88A is made to impinge against the partition plate 90 to forcibly turn the flow of the raw water toward the outer periphery thereof and this raw water is made to flow pass through the second activated carbon bed 88B.
