PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exercise assisting apparatus which can make a display section easier to see by a user even if the height of a seat section is changed. SOLUTION: This exercise assisting apparatus 1A is equipped with the seat section 4 on which users 3A and 3B sit, a driving section 5 which rocks the seat section 4, an elevating section 6 which adjusts the height of the seat section 4 by elevating the seat section 4, a foot placing section 8 on which the users 3A and 3B place the feet 31, a handle 10 for supporting the upper half bodies of the users 3A and 3B by placing their hands, and a display panel 20 which is attached to the handle 11. The display panel 20 has a display section 20a on which information such as an exercising period of time is displayed, and at the same time, is constituted in such a manner that the display section 20a may be adjusted to the position meeting the lines of sight of the users 3A and 3B.
