PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lumbar support device for a vehicle, capable of easily recognizing the foremost position of a lumbar plate in the vehicle and preventing the webbing of a seat from being caught in a control lever when an occupant is restrained on the seat with a safety belt device. SOLUTION: When a front passenger seat 10 is at a prescribed position in the front/rear direction of the vehicle, the distal end of the control lever 23 is located at a position near a second webbing 31b and in front of the second webbing 31b in the vehicle, as seen from a side of the vehicle, when the occupant is not restrained. When the front passenger seat 10 is located at the prescribed position and the end of the control lever 23 is located at the rearmost position in the vehicle, the line L1 extending from a shaft member 24 toward the control lever 23 crosses the line L2 extending in a direction of extension of the second webbing 31b, as seen from a side of the vehicle, when the occupant is not restrained, and the angle of crossing is not more than 45 degrees.
