PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hemodialysis apparatus capable of completely removing bubbles from inside the circuits of the apparatus, preventing mixing of bubbles inside the circuits when the blood is removed, and securely determining the completion of the autotransfusion. SOLUTION: In the hemodialysis apparatus, an artery side blood circuit with a blood pump is connected to a dialyzer on the artery side, and a vein side blood circuit with a vein chamber is connected to the dialyzer on the vein side. A dialysis solution supply line and a dialysis solution discharging line are connected to both sides of the dialyzer respectively. The hemodialysis apparatus is structured to securely remove residual bubbles in the blood circuits by making the blood pump perform pulsating motions on the stage of the automatic priming process, in addition to the bubble removing motions by the opening/closing operation of a clamp of an overflow line disposed in the vein chamber in the vein side blood circuit and feeding of the solution by the blood pump.
