USE OF AROMA COMPOUNDS AS DEFOAMING AGENTS FOR OPHTHALMIC SOLUTIONS WITH HIGH CONCENTRATIONS OF SURFACTANTS
摘要
<p>A method of reducing foam formation and improving odor in ophthalmic solutions containing high concentrations of surfactants, such as multipurpose cleaning and conditioning solutions and contact lens packing solutions. The ophthalmic solutions contain surfactant and aroma compound in an amount effective to decrease foam formation. The aroma compound has a low molecular weight and pleasing smell.</p>
