A domain server comprises means (10) for receiving a request transmitted from a client device (CLl) for obtaining DNS data, a zone file (FZ1, zone) comprising at least one partition rule defining the domain partition into sub-zones, wherein DNS data items of said sub-zones are associated with a pair of partition keys allocated to said sub-zone, means (20) for obtaining from said zone file a useful piece of information sufficient for identifying the pair of partition keys associated with a searched DNS data and means (10) for transmitting the searched DNS data to the client device (CLI), the signature value of said data produced by means of a private component (ZSK2[pr]) of the pair of partition keys and a useful piece of information
