A system for logging a transaction process includes: a logging policy table for recording a logging policy defined so as to execute logging in which a transaction process log data amount is varied according to a request response time defined in a service level agreement; a transaction process monitoring unit for automatically monitoring a response time of the transaction process; and a storage device fore recording a log of the transaction process. The system further includes a logging control unit for selecting a logging policy stored in the logging policy table according to the response time of the transaction process monitored by the transaction process monitor unit and causing the recording device to record the log of the transaction process according to the selected logging policy.
