A system and a method for processing a payment approval corresponding to member shop information, and a payment approval processing device and a recording medium for the same are provided to process the payment approval using a check card by using check or credit card information according to payment card selection information of the member shop. An information storing part stores the payment card selection condition information to a storage medium. An information reader(510) reads the member shop information and the check card information from a payment approval request message when the message using a check card is received. An information checker(515) checks whether the credit card information linked with the read check card information is found in the storage medium. A check or credit card payment approval processor(520,525) processes the payment approval by using the check or credit card information based on the payment card selection condition information of the member shop if the linked credit card information is found.
