A cage 4 for a rolling bearing has components 5, 6 extending axially beyond the ends of the rolling elements 3, which terminate in annular end portions 7; 8 extending towards the bearing axis, the axial extent of the cage beyond the rolling elements at one end being greater than at the other end. One of the flanges may be made separately from the rest of the cage and then welded to it. The space 11 is filled with grease to lubricate the bearing. |
