<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for increasing regenerative energy by hybrid by providing and rationally controlling a chargeable state of a hybrid battery, and carrying out effective regenerative braking by minimizing energy loss by auxiliary braking, in a conventional large hybrid automobile, wherein regenerative braking for charging the hybrid battery and exhaust braking for blocking an exhaust passage are both used in deceleration or in descending a slope, while they are uniformly controlled irrespective of whether there is a charging capacity in the hybrid battery, or not. <P>SOLUTION: An auxiliary braking operation end operated by a driver is commonly used in both the exhaust braking and hybrid braking. When the operation end is operated into a braking state, a control system observes a charging capacity of the hybrid battery to control such that the exhaust braking is prohibited, and the regenerative braking is given priority when there is a charging capacity. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
