<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the calculation speed of contact judgment, and to prevent deterioration in the precision of simulation. <P>SOLUTION: When integrated displacement quantity of 1/4 cells or more is generated in any of particles configuring a contact candidate particle pair, the possibility of the generation of the contact state of the contact candidate particle pair which have not been brought into contact with each other in a previous step among the contact candidate particle pairs is made high. Then, the pair data of the contact candidate particle pair are updated in such a circumstance that the possibility of the generation of the contact state of the contact candidate pair increases. Thus, it is possible to prevent the precision of simulation from being deteriorated even when the calculation speed is increased by thinning out the data update of the contact candidate particle pair, and partially omitting contact judgment as a result. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
