摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an X-ray CT apparatus preventing image deterioration due to a scattered X-ray in a channel direction without arranging a collimator. <P>SOLUTION: The partial scattering coefficients W (k-i, T) of the X-ray beam in every thickness T of arc phantom are obtained from the scattering X-ray information obtaining process in a step S401 using a plurality of arc phantoms with different thicknesses T, scattering X-ray shielding blocks, and a plurality of transmitting X-ray shielding blocks with different lengths l. Further the path length of a subject is obtained from the subject information obtaining process in a step S404. The scatter correction of subject projecting information is executed by the subject projecting information correct process in a step S405 from the sum of the partial scattering coefficients W (k-i, T) of the thicknesses T corresponding to the path lengths. Consequently the correction of the scattered X-ray in the channel direction is precisely executed from experimental data and the deterioration of image quality due to the scattered X-ray can be suppressed without arranging the collimator in the channel direction of a scintillator 41. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p>
