PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an in-wheel motor system for obtaining a sufficient drive force even if a fast-rotation/low-torque small motor is used. SOLUTION: A reduction gear mechanism 11 for transmitting the rotation of an electric motor 10 to a wheel 2 comprises a first planetary gear apparatus 11a coupled to an output shaft 10b of the electric motor 10, and a second planetary gear apparatus 11b for coupling the first planetary gear apparatus 11a and a wheel hub 3.
