PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and surely back up an image. SOLUTION: A decomposition section 12 decomposes an image into a plurality of components including a main component with which the overall image can be visually confirmed, to acquire a plurality of decomposed images. An image recording section 13 records at least one decomposed image including a decomposed image representing the main component, among the plurality of decomposed images, onto a recording medium associated with each of a plurality of users. A recording destination information generation section 14 generates recording destination information specifying recording media on which the plurality of decomposed images are recorded, respectively.
