PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the capacity of a resistor and a breaker which are used for suppressing the inrush current of a transformer. SOLUTION: The exciting current of a transformer is canceled with a capacitor to reduce the current flowing into the resistor connected in series to the breaker down to approximately 1/10, increasing the value of resistance up to 10 times.
