PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an actuator which can reciprocate a movable part also in its rocking direction by compact and low-cost constitution where there is no necessity to form a fixed part in large diameter. SOLUTION: This actuator is equipped with a movable part 1 which has a shaft 2, a tubular fixed part 5 which has a support 7 for supporting the movable part 1 rockably in seesaw form, with one part of the shaft 2 as a fulcrum, and accommodating the one end side of the shaft 2, and a spring mechanism part which elastically couples the movable part 1 with the fixed part 5. A permanent magnet 3, which constitutes a reverse magnetic pole in the orthogonal direction to the axial direction, is arranged on the side of the movable part 1. A coil member 12, which has magnetic poles 13a, 13b, 13c and 13d at points opposed to the magnetic poles of the above permanent magnets 3, are arranged on the side of the fixed part 5. A rocking drive mechanism 4, which reciprocatively rocks the movable part 1 to the fixed part 5, is made of the above permanent magnet 3 and the above coil member 12. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
