PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixing metal piece for a grating ditch cover which can surely fix the ditch cover not to be lifted related to a side ditch by simple work, can prevent noise, and can prevent a part of the ditch cover from projecting from a road surface. SOLUTION: A twisted part 3 is formed in a middle part of a fixing metal piece body 2 prepared by using a vertically long strip-like metal plate. In the fixing metal piece body 2, an upper plate 4 and a lower plate 5 having the twisted part 3 between them as a border are arranged at a right angle. A hook 6 is formed at the upper end of the upper plate 4 by being folded so that the hook 6 may be engaged with a bar of the grating ditch cover A. An insertion hole 7 for a bolt 8 is formed at the lower plate part 5 for fixing the fixing metal piece body 2 to the inner surface of the side ditch B. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
