PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hair holder which can give beautiful curls to hair easily and certainly. SOLUTION: This hair holder 1 is made up of a flattened cylindrical body constituted with a sheet whose Taber stiffness of one side is not less than 0.4 mN m so that a bundle of hairs 3 can be inserted from one open end 21 to the other open end 22. Series of two or more adhering pieces 4' whose shapes are long in the trans-longitudinal direction of the cylindrical body are adhered to a sheet forming one side separately from each other in the longitudinal direction. The cylindrical body virtually does not have elasticity in the longitudinal direction and has the sheet forming one side on its outside or inside.
