<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an emergency lighting device capable of securing safety even if environmental temperature changes and preventing enlargement of the size. <P>SOLUTION: For securing floor luminance of not less than lx even when environmental temperature becomes 140°C, the emergency lighting device 1 using an LED 7 as a light source secures floor luminance of not less than 1.5 lx when environmental temperature is normal. In this embodiment, the LED 7 is specified so as to be able to use even at normal temperature. Accordingly, it is set so that the luminance of the floor becomes not less than 2 lx at environmental temperature of 300°C at initial stage of the use.
