<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording medium in which coloring and discoloring can be achieved in a relatively low temperature zone without using an additive for enhancing sensitivity while facilitating the temperature control of coloring and discoloring, and a reaction rate of coloring and discoloring is high while ensuring the contrast and preservation stability of recording results. <P>SOLUTION: The printer comprises a recording head 1 for writing information by heating a recording medium P which repeats coloring and discoloring by a temperature variation, and a head 2 for erasing the information by heating the recording medium P. The erasure head 2 is a planar or rodlike heater member where heating resistors 2a having a length not shorter than the width of the recording medium P and heating the entire region of the recording medium in the width direction are arranged on an arrangement substrate 2ab. The heating resistors 2a constituting the heater member are arranged to abut against the recording surface of the recording medium P while facing the conveyance passage of the recording medium P in the vicinity of the upstream side of the recording head 1. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
