PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new earthquake-proof fitting capable of stably and smoothly performing connection work with a hanging metal fitting in a state of being hung on a H-section steel, and free from drop accident and the like. SOLUTION: Folded ends of a hook portion of the earthquake-proof fitting of a hanging metal fitting of a duct, is extended to form an extension portion of a length expanding to both sides or one side with respect to the fitting as a center, so that the hook portion is stabilized by being kept into contact with a H-section steel face at its face or a plurality of points, when the hook portion is hung on the H-section steel, and do not displace or move a bit even when hands are released therefrom during hanging work, thus an accident such as drop can be prevented, the hanging metal fitting can be smoothly fitted and mounted, and the duct and the like can be firmly hung and mounted with earthquake-proof property.
