PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric brush for preventing an electrical resistance from increasing in a lead wire embedded section, reducing an electrical loss and an abrasion, and excellent in the durability. SOLUTION: In the electric brush formed with a low-resistance layer 2 and a high-resistance layer 1 as a slide face contacting a commutator, a lead wire 3 is embedded into the low-resistance layer 2, the high-resistance layer 1 is bonded and provided with an air gap 4 prevented from contacting the lead wire 3 on the exposed lead wire side in the low-resistance layer 2, and the lead wire 3 is outwardly drawn from the air gap so as to prevent the lead wire 3 from contacting the high-resistance layer 1.
