PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel pump arrangement structure for a scooter type vehicle in which a seat height is set to be lower by reducing the height of a fuel tank, and fuel required when starting a vehicle is easily secured. SOLUTION: In a scooter type vehicle, a storage box 21 is arranged below a seat 72 on which an occupant is seated, and a fuel tank 22 is arranged behind the storage box 21 and above a rear wheel. A fuel filling port 142 is provided in the front of the upper wall 143 of the fuel tank 22, and a fuel pump 91 built in the fuel tank 22 is arranged on an inclined wall 126 behind the fuel filling port 142 of the fuel tank 22 in a forward-downward manner in a side view.
