PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To analyze a motion of a subject based on at least two images produced by a tomographic device at two consecutive times by use of a simple means in an improved form compared to known methods. SOLUTION: The method is for analyzing a motion of a subject based on at least two images formed by a tomographic device at two consecutive times. In an image range selected along an edge from each of the two images, a vector field is formed, and a displacement vector is determined to represent displacement of local image information between the first image and the second image.
