PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce cost and improve economy of a rotation transmission device controlling a two-way clutch engaging and disengaging an input shaft and an outer ring by a control clutch. SOLUTION: The two-way clutch 10 is built between the input shaft 1 and the outer ring 2. The control clutch engaging and disengaging the outer ring 2 with a retainer 14 of the two-way clutch 10 is provided on one side in an axial direction of the two-way clutch 10. A mechanical disk clutch 20 is adopted to the control clutch to reduce cost of the rotation transmission device. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
