<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of supporting designing of a light emitting device which can improve a printing speed and productivity, and to provide the light emitting device, an image forming device, and a design supporting program. <P>SOLUTION: According to the method, provided that the number c of light emitting elements of a single light emitting element array (c is a natural number of 2 or more), the number n of element-side connection portions (n is a natural number), the total number a of the light emitting elements in a plurality of light emitting element arrays (a is a natural number), the number b of driving side connection portions (b is a natural number), and the number m of driving devices (m is a natural number) hold the equation of a/c=(b×m)/n, and that when the n element-side connection portions connected to the a1 light emitting elements (a1 is a natural number satisfying a1<a), are separately connected to the b driving-side connection portions of the m1 driving devices (m1 is a natural number satisfying m1<m), a1, n, c, b, and m1 hold the equation of a1/c=(b×m1)/n, where a, a1, c, and n are set to known numbers, the number of driving devices is determined based on b, m, and m1. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
