PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing base which can easily output/input information relative to the manufacture of the printing base. SOLUTION: This printing base includes: a radio IC tag capable of outputting/inputting information by radio, fitted to the inside of a hollow cylindrical support or the outside surface of the hollow cylindrical support; and an original printing plate layer which enables an uneven pattern to be formed on the surface or a printing plate layer with an uneven pattern on the surface laminated on the hollow cylindrical support.
