PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lighting controller enabling a resident to easily specify abnormality and capable of preventing a large scale inspection on the entire lighting controller when the resident can not operate to control light because of short circuit of a signal line between a light control signal generator and converter or abnormality of the light control signal generator itself. SOLUTION: The light controller 1 is provided with the converter 4 for outputting a first light control signal output from the light control signal generator 3 into a second light control signal to control light of a first lighting load B by the first light control signal and control light of a second lighting load A by a second light control signal. Then, the converter 4 outputs an abnormality alarm signal when the first light control signal is not within a light control range assigned to the second lighting load.
