<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a device for operating an oil flow control valve. <P>SOLUTION: The method for operating the oil flow control valve 10 of an internal combustion engine, having the oil flow control valve 10 provided to affect a cam phaser 26 arranged in an output side of the oil flow control valve 10, and having a spool 14 arranged in a spool housing 12 is provided. This method includes a process synchronizing displacement of the spool 14 in the hosing 12 with combustion demand, and moreover, a process synchronizing the spool 14 with oil pressure characteristics acting on an output side of the oil flow control valve 10. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
