PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyimide film having penetration holes with a specific diameter suitable for a separator or the like, and also to provide a production method for the same. SOLUTION: The polyimide porous film has penetration holes with diameters of 0.01-10μm. The method of producing the polyimide porous film is characterized by processes of laminating a porous film on a cast film of polyamic acid varnish and then immersing in a poor solvent.
