PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent positioning ribs (e) from becoming ambiguous, when a rotation detection sensor (wheel speed sensor) P is to be mounted. SOLUTION: A Hall IC 11, for detecting variations in magnetic fields due to rotation and converting them into electrical signals, is mounted to a holder 20, and an output cable 6 is drawn out of the Hall IC via lead pieces 12 of the Hall IC and applied with a resin coating 4 in the rotation detection sensor P. The positioning ribs (e) are arranged at locations different from a parting line T of metal molds. Since the positioning ribs (e) are arranged at locations different from the parting line T of the metal molds, the positioning ribs (e) can normally be distinguished clearly from burrs, even if they are produced in the parting line T of the metal molds; and the positioning ribs (e) can be verified clearly. Since the positioning ribs (e) can be verified clearly, accurate mounting of the rotation detection sensor P can be facilitated. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
