摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce a carbohydrate derivative such as a polysaccharide, glycolipid or sugar amino acid at low cost in high yield by a compatible/phase-separated liquid phase synthesis method designed in accordance with its purpose. SOLUTION: The liquid phase synthesis method comprises the following process: As a temperature-dependent-type compatible/incompatible solvent, a reaction solvent(SV) as a mixture of methylcyclohexane(MCH) as low-polar solvent and propionitrile(PN) as high-polar solvent is used. Under maintaining the solvent in a compatible state, a glycosyl donor(D) presenting propionitrile-selective solubility and a receptor(R) presenting methylcyclohexane-selective solubility are made to react with each other in a liquid phase to form a carbohydrate derivative(Y) presenting methylcyclohexane-selective solubility. Subsequently, acetonitrile(AN) is added to the system to bring the reaction solvent to a phase-separated state, and the objective carbohydrate derivative(Y) dissolved in the methylcyclohexane is retrieved.
