PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hair-dyeing agent composition without damaging hairs and showing less decoloration accompanying with washing hair after the hair-dyeing, and also a method for hair-dyeing by using the same. SOLUTION: This hair-dyeing agent composition contains a component (A) 0.1-10 wt.% oxidant, component (B) 0.00001-1 wt.% oxidizing form coenzyme Q or reducing form coenzyme Q and component (C) 0.1-10 wt.% ethanolamine or its salt, and shows pH 8-12.
