PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To move a cassette to a target stop position in a short period of time without impairing positioning accuracy and stability and improve the stopping accuracy at the target stop position by improving the detection accuracy of a residual distance to the target stop position. SOLUTION: This X-ray fluoroscopic table sets the target stop position at a radiographing position on a carriage based on the size of the cassette set by a size selection section 24 and, when the position of the carriage detected by a potentiometer 20 approaches to the target stop position by a set distance or more, allows a mode changeover means 31 to change over from a speed control mode to a position control mode. In the position control mode, the set value of the target stop position is converted into an analog value, allows a differential amplifier 39 to output a difference signal between the value and the analog value from the potentiometer 20, converts it into a digital value by a second A/D converter 40, and allows a control within a deceleration range in the position control mode based on the digital difference signal from the second A/D converter 40.
