The unit has supply channels (11, 12, 13) with fitting units inserted in a housing such as a school bus (1), where the bed providing unit is attached over a sick bed (3). The electrical and the medical supply are attached separately from the housing. An illumination is provided in the upper and the lower parts of the bed providing unit. The supply channels are connected with a mechanical substructure independent of the housing. A fixation for a wall (2) is wrapped by the substructure and not by the housing.
