Provided is a tire tread rubber composition, which is improved in wear resistance and heat build-up resistance properties and has physical properties such as tensile property and dynamic viscoelasticity equal to and more excellent than the conventional rubber. The tire tread rubber composition having improved wear resistance comprises 5-15 parts by weight of a fatty acid metal salt based on 100 parts by weight of raw material rubbers consisting of 70-90 parts by weight of a styrene-butadiene rubber(SBR) having a styrene content of 23.5%, and 10-30 parts by weight of a styrene-butadiene rubber(SBR) having a styrene content of 30%. The fatty acid metal salt includes at least any one fatty acid selected from acetic acid, propionic acid, butyric acid, valeric acid, caproic acid, enanthic acid, caprylic acid, perargonic acid, capric acid, undecylic acid, lauric acid, tridecylic acid, myristic acid, pentadecylic acid, parchymic acid, heptadecylic acid, nonadecanic acid, archidic acid, acrylic acid, crotonic acid, undecyleic acid, oleic acid, setreic acid, ercaic acid, brush ginic acid, sorbic acid, linolic acid, linoleic acid, and arachidonic acid, and at least one metal selected from zinc and potassium.
