<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bleaching agent suppressing melanin formation, having inhibitory actions for a tyrosinase activity effective for prophylaxis and amelioration of pigmentation/dermal stains/ephelides/chloasma, etc., after sunburn and having excellent bleaching effects on skin, to provide a bleaching cosmetic having the excellent bleaching effects, to provide an anti-oxidant having excellent antioxidizing effects, thereby preventing skin aging and effective for preventing acne vulgaris, atopic dermatitis, allergic dermatitis, dandruff, etc., and to provide an external preparation for skin having the excellent effects. <P>SOLUTION: An extract from Vaccinium dunalianum var. urophyllum of the genus Vaccinium of the family Ericaceae has the excellent inhibitory actions for the tyrosinase activity and anti-oxidizing actions. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
