PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a capsule endoscope capable of being securely fused with the laser light irradiation.

SOLUTION: A tubular cover 2 for storing a CCD imager 5 and a transparent cover 3 made of a laser-light translucent member are fused to each other by the incidence of the visible light from a subject into the CCD imager 5 and the irradiation of the engagement part 14 between the tubular cover 2 and the transparent cover 3 with the laser light Q from outside a capsule endoscope casing 4.
