<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lens-coating device which controls force which chucks a lens to be coated and very efficiently forms a film without unfavorable influence on the lens, and also provide a lens-coating method. <P>SOLUTION: Coating processing, drying processing and hardening processing each are sequentially carried out in independent accommodation parts, respectively, while holding one surface of a lens L with a chucking member 17 and moving the chucking member 17 with a moving mechanism.
