<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate preparation of a specification to improve efficiency in an order reception/placement task. <P>SOLUTION: In this order reception/placement system, an orderer terminal 10, an order receiver terminal 40, and a management server 20 are connected via communication lines 50, 60, and the management server 20 has a database 30. The orderer terminal 10 retrieves a document stored in the database 30, prepares the order placement specification by selection and quotation from a retrieval result, and transmits it to the management server 20. The management server 20 discloses the transmitted order placement specification on a website, and a competitive bid is made.
